Jesus gave His followers an imperative invitation to be part of a thrilling mission to the world (Matthew 28:18-20). In His “Great Commission,” He tells them to “make disciples of all nations.”
As followers of Jesus and as a church, we desire to fulfill Jesus’ commission of making disciples, who are able to become part of this exciting mission in their own right. A disciple is more than a mere convert, but is committed to following Jesus in all things and under all circumstances, as he or she has:
- surrendered their life to Jesus publicly through the picture of baptism
- been taught the basic core doctrines of God’s Word
- demonstrated an observable commitment to Jesus by obeying His teachings
One-on-one discipleship is available for all who are interested in a friendly relationship based discipleship approach. The church will provide the discipleship material and a potential “mentor match.”
Please contact the church office if you are interested in learning more about our discipleship ministry or desire to be discipled.
