Men’s Retreat at Skyview Ranch

Faith isn’t always easy. It takes determination and a solid, regimented workout plan. Discipline strengthens us to the core when sought after each and every day. We must lay ourselves down over and over again in order for God to transform us into the image of His Son, Jesus Christ. Discipline comes with sweat and pain, but there is a greater hope that our worldly comfort cannot compete with—not even close. It’s time to step up to the challenge!

1 Corinthians 9:24-27 says, “Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.”

“Coach Mo” is a Basketball Specialist for Athletes in Action International and currently serves as the chaplain/life coach for the USA Basketball’s Senior National Team, which represents our country in the Olympics and the FIBA World Cup. He and his wife, Kelly, live in Xenia, Ohio and have five children together: Bethany, Morgan, Meredith, Daniel and Deborah.
